Welcome to the ExcelGrader.com website. The website has been updated using the moodle course managment system (www.moodle.org.)

Excel Grader was a result of my dissertation research. Me and my fellow instructors at NEMCC have used the grader with good results for three years. We have graded thousands of assignments and saved many hours of manual grading.

MEAGER (Microsoft Excel Automated GradER), Excel Grader, and Excel Automated Grader all refer to the same program.

I encourage you to create an account and give some feedback. I hope the program proves useful.

I am teacher for CL Taitano Elementary for 5th grade this coming year. But had requested to move within the Elem. levels: 3rd, 4th, 5th, ESL, Sp.Ed. purpose of testing the grading and percentage and tracking.

I will give it a try. This coming year. I currently worked on Worksheet but in ref. to Elementary school grade book and tracker. Since 2001 and have been adapting it to different grade levels in the 3rd to 5th levels.

You mention that your excel sheet was used at Univ. levels? Would like to try to adapt it if you don't mind?

Problem with elem. is the 4 tardies equals an absent day. This section of the worksheet was a headache.

Never thought it could be used for a dessertation. Giving me ideas. I am not on my school computer but will try to email you a copy.

Thanks for your query. It might clear up some confusion.

This program might better be called "Excel Automated Marker." It is NOT used for maintaining class grades or classroom statistics, which I assume you need.

Instead it marks (grades) homework assignments.

The automated grader has been my sanity saver as an instructor of both Excel and Access. I set a deadline of 11:55 p.m. and set the grader to begin grading just after midnight. I snooze while the grader marks the students' errors, computes grades, and then makes the graded files (along with detailed notes to the students) available for the students. It is wonderful! Now, I cannot wait to complete grading the Word files because I know I can "coast" when I get to the Excel and Access units. It has made me want to teach more years than I had once planned since I no longer have to take huge stacks of papers home to grade!

Excel Grader is a tremendous help for me and my students as well. There is no way to manually grade assignments as quickly and accurately as with using Excel Grader. Thanks for such a wonderful product!
